How it works
Upscale an image to 2K, 4K, 6K or 8K
Give Upscela a small or soft picture and it hands back a larger, sharper one in the same shape. It works on photographs, product shots, artwork, screenshots and old scans, and nothing is stamped on the result on any plan.
- Drop a JPG, PNG or WEBP of up to 25 MB on the box, or click the box to choose a file.
- Pick a size. The credits each one costs are printed under it before you spend anything.
- Press Upscale Image. When it is ready, drag the slider across the picture to compare it with your original, then download it.
What does it cost?
By size, 2K 20, 4K 30, 6K 40 and 8K 50 credits. A new account is given free credits every month once its email address is confirmed, which is enough to try it properly, and the pricing page shows what each plan includes.
What will my picture look like afterwards?
The same picture, with more in it. The shape is kept exactly and nothing is cropped away. Edges and texture are drawn at the new size, where plain resizing would only blur them. A very small or badly damaged original gives it less to work from, so start from the best copy you have.
Do I have to wait on the page?
No. An upscale carries on in Recent Tasks while you add the next picture, and how many run at once depends on your plan: Free 1, Starter 3, Pro 8 and Max 20. Close the tab and it still finishes. The result is waiting when you come back.
Can I prepare the picture first?
Yes, and it is worth doing. The Edit tab crops, straightens and corrects colour for free, in your browser, and one button carries the picture back here. Crop first and every credit goes on the part of the frame you are keeping.
How long is my result kept?
For as long as your plan says, which is Free 3 days, Starter 1 week, Pro 15 days and Max 30 days. After that it is deleted for good, so download what you want to keep. During its last day a finished task shows how long it has left.
